Does set come on and stay on with menu etc?

All these sets have a hard reset that will restore set to condition it was when new in the box--need a working Mitsubishi remote for this and the four digit number code to attempt it.

Confirm the full model number to me and if this information was helpful, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Black bar on dlp tv.how do I fix this?

Sounds like a connection problem between board and DLP chip. The BGA connection which connects the DLP chip to the board, or the flex connector may be bad, causing the row and column section to not activate the micro-mirrors on the DLP chip. Not an easy fix. Regards.

After replacing the dlp chip in my mitsubishi tv there are vertical lines on the screen. any ideas?

i had the same lines on my 65' mitsubishi tv after replacing the DLP chip. after going back over everything i realized that the casinf that holds the chip in was not in the lock position. i took the chip out and replaced it then turned the little locking mechanism to the locked position. now my screen is perfect. hope this helps.

0n my mitsubishi medallian 65-411 i get code 1-2 what does this mean?

A 12 blink code means that there is no problem detected. You must turn the set on and let it shut down on it's own, then you can pull out the code as to what is wrong with it.

I have the mitsubishi hdtv 65" diamond series with the blurry problem posted on 1/7/10. My model# ws-65711 has the same convergence problem. How can I fix this??

There are two convergence integrated circuits that have to be replaced. The center printed circuit board has to be removed to unsolder the chips. You might want to refer this to a local Mitsubishi servicer.

The Light Box can be removed but that will not help you. I do not know of any way to shorten the TV.
