Can't get the back off. I'm going to bring it back and see if they can do it. It looks like the sides were not cut properly and therefore are a solid piece. Pisses me off. It was a hassle getting the phone.

My phone has been unlocked but every time i turn it on is still says enter restriction code its a nokia 6700

1. Obtain the lock code for your Nokia 6700. You can purchase the lock code from a cellular unlocking service or get it from your cellular carrier. Some carriers have criteria your account must meet in order to give you the code, such as the account being active for a certain length of time.
2. Turn off the phone and remove the battery cover. Press the battery release button on the bottom edge of the phone, remove the back cover and lift the battery from the top. Set the battery and battery cover aside.
3. Slide the SIM card bracket toward the left edge of the phone, lift the bracket and remove the SIM. Close the bracket and reinstall the battery and battery cover.
4. Power the phone on with no SIM card. The phone will show a message stating no SIM is installed.
5. Type "#PW+LOCK+1#" with your lock code replacing LOCK. For example, if your code is 1234568, type "#PW+12345678+1#" on the keypad. Press the "*" key quickly three times for P, four times for W, and twice for +. For Fido or Rogers Canada, use "7" instead of "1."
6. Wait for the phone to show "SIM Restriction Off" and reboot. You can now use the Surge with any SIM card.

Removing back from i-phone

Apple has made it impossible to easily remove the back of the iPhones. If you are not an expert in getting the cover off, then you WILL break it. The people who know how to do it have broken many phones in the process of learning. I'm not sure what exact problem you're having with the phone, but try holding both the lock and home buttons at the same time for about 60 seconds. This completes a Hard-Reboot and is similar to removing the battery and putting it back in. Hope this helps :)

E5 unable to start

1. Remove Battery, Attempt to Restart phone. repeat at least twice.
2. Contact a service representative of your carrier or take the device into your carriers store, most of the time they will recommend a hard reset and will attempt to backup your data, if you are still covered and they rules that it is not your fault for having a broken phone they may replace the handset.
Good Luck!

Norstar phone displays you have a message yet there is no message. How do I clear the screen of this. Thanks for any help you can give me.

You can do what is called a hard reset. By having the phone on then removing the battery cover and pulling the battery out, leaving it out for a couple of minutes then putting it back in and turning the phone on.
