Usually you can print up to about 60lb paper. You may be able to go as high as 90-110 (card stock) if the paper print path is straight thorugh. If you printer has a rear paper door then you can try heavier paper. Usually 40-60 is safe for printer without a rear door/heavy paper path.
The problem is that the heavier paper cannot bend around the rollers inside. So if it is setup to allow heavy paper it runs through flat and out the back instead of curling around and out the top as normal.

Under printer setup select your print, then change the paper size in the settings to the paper you're using.
Change the alignment of the paper feed on printer to the size of the new paper
