Hi experts! We have the "latest and greatest" washing machine which has worked wonderfully for the last 10 months until we got a F2 error message; then a F10 error message. Now, machine will not even power up although when we push the START button, it beeps. Nothing lights up now... just the little chirping beeps. Hubby unplugged, checked breaker box, checked filter after opening bottom, front kickplate. All looks well. Actually, everything behind that kickplate looked quite clean too.
It takes FOREVER to have a Sears tech to come out. Any suggestions? Hubby is very handy but not familiar with the new designs.

Give this a try to see if it'll reset...disconect power to it for 30 seconds while no power press power button for 10 seconds then press the start/pause button for 10 seconds. Plug in or turn breaker back on and see if it reset.
Unfortunately you spent money unnecessarily, and before making any additional errors; it would be best to have a trained technician with knowledge of the washer, service the system.
A faulty door switch can cause this, You can test it with an ohmmeter. A faulty control panel can also cause this. Also a faulty fuse or power supply which can be tested with a voltmeter to make sure it is getting power.
Take the top cover off with the 3 torque screws. need to check if there is power going to the interface board. If there is then the interface board needs to be replaced

this looks like a classic whirlpool control board issue. fault is a communication error between board and panel. check connections. whirlpool always recommends replacing both at same time. very common problem.
forget the bleach for now theres anew product that hit the market in the last few months that will cure youre cleaning noeeds and was designed by/for and with the help of whirpool corp."AFFRESH " tabs, available at major qppliance retaillers as well and the home depot--- best buy as well.
