Question about Epson Stylus Photo R1800 InkJet Printer

I need to install my R1800 to my new computer but I can not find the installation CD. How to I go about obtaining another one?

Important OS X pre-installation instructions: The Macintosh OS X driver found on the CD provided with your product is not intended for use with Intel-based Macintosh computers. If you have already installed the OS X printer driver provided on your product CD, please follow these important instructions before installing the "epson11769.dmg" file:
  1. Open the OS X "Printer Setup Utility".

Since your computer can't read cd and you have the installation cd what you can do is to copy the contents of the cd to a flash drive from another system then use the flash on your own pc, and install it from the flash. Try this.

Save the driver to a specific directory. Unplug USB from the printer, wait a minute and plug USB back in. When the wizard detects the new hardware, manually select the dirver from the specific directory. Do not let the wizard search for the driver. You select the driver manually. Good Luck

Pl check your printer driver installed correctly or not if not pl install with its cd.

printer and computer not communication by cable problem or computer or printer three types of cause.

pl printer install with another pc and check it.

r1800 doesn't support cd printing. Maybe that's why you can't find the disc??????

I lost the installation cd!!


Try Fuji's website. I think the website is
http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/download/index.html

The cd you're looking for I think is on the 2nd column and 2nd row. Let me know if this helps.

Epson r1800 both light flashing


try taking out the inks you have installed make sure that you hear a click on each of the inks when you install them. If the issue persists the printer may not recognizing the inks you have installed.
