Player is not recognized by any computers

Try downloading the software and/or drivers for it before connecting it to your pc. If you no longer have the disk that came with it - go to the manufacturers website and download them there. Don't connect it to your pc until the software is installed. The computer won't recognize it until the software and/or drivers are installed.

I don't know how to download songs onto my MP3 Player. :(

The majority of mp3 players should come with a cable which connects it to your computer/laptop.

1.Once the MP3 player is plugged into you laptop, you can either use a application like Realplayer, or you can go to My Computer/Removable Disk (depends where you plug it into(Note: The name of the removable disk drive may be called something like the brand or model name of your MP3 player). Once you have opened up the Removable Disk drive, there should be a file for Audio. copy the Music file into that file.

2.With Realplayer go to http://www.realplayer.com.au/ to download it, and then install it and all of that stuff. Once installed, open it up and connect your MP3 player to your computer. Once connected, Realplayer should register that it is there and open it up. If not use step 1.

If you want to use music off of your CDs Download an CD audio to MP3 converter (search for one on google). Then convert your Cds and copy onto your MP3 player.

Hope it help

Delstar ds 1036

Just to make sure...are you using supported file types? Do the files you are trying to use have DRM (digital rights management) on them that would prevent them from being used on other equipment? This means did you buy them online from a source like i-Tunes or Walmart. Try using a plain jane mp3. if you don't have one put a cd in your computer and rip it as mp3 files in window media player. Then try moving those files to the Delstar. Or try placing files it from another computer.

Won't turn on

This player does not work well with Windows Media Player 11.

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Sansa Connect Problem

I had the same problem with my Sansa Connect. It refused to start up when connecting to my computer. I think it may have something to do with not refreshing my music every so often. I tried the Recovery Tool, but it did absolutely nothing. Same problem was still there. So, I did a factory reset and it worked. No problems. I would recommend refreshing music regularly to avoid this problem.

Ilo mp3 2gb. Downloaded music and disconnected when "safely remove hardware" icon appeared. Screen is blank and will not power up.

This is the worst mp3 player ever invented - i have to tell you this up front. There is no driver, the company does not support the product anymore - I would return it now while you still can.

Either the device is bad, the pc port is bad, or the software is faulty. Try connecting to different usb port, then a usb port on a different pc with a compatible os. If still not recognized, then there is physical damage to player.
