Tip

When installing a Web-Cam make sure your old cam has been uninsulated.

When you set up a new Web-Cam for your computer go under to the computers Start up Key, click the "Computer" button, and you will see a option to pick from. Click "Control Panel" and a list of installed programs, and accessories installed in your computers memory will come up. Find your old Web-Cam under the installed "Device Manager" icon.
Uninstall your old cam, and make sure the New one IS NOT plugged in at this point. After you uninstall the old one, you can then PLUG in the new cam, go back to "Device Manager" and click on "View Hardware and Devices" and your computer should recognize you have new hardware plugged into one of your USB ports, and a balloon should pop up, and Click that ballon, your computer SHOULD read and install the Cam, if not use your "Device Manager" and IF a disk came with your Cam, put it into your computer at this point if you already havent. Your PC should recognize what you are tring to do, and install the Cam. Hope this helps, if not type Web Cam into the search engine in your computers search tab, while under the Device Manager, and it will tell you step by step on how to do lots of things.

Integrated web cam will not function. says driver is not detected. how do i turn it on

Go to devices select the driver that is your web cam driver if it is highlighted with a yellow icon then right click it and go to update driver. I would update it anyway. Make sure that you are online and make sure that you select go to the Internet always option. If you have the disk the original disk that came with your computer and it says drivers put this in and point it to the disk drive where you DVD or CD driver disk is located. This will install the driver again if you cannot get this to work. Go and select devices and where the web cam is delete it in devices and then try to upgrade again. This will install the driver again for your cam. Preferably use the driver disk your computer came with if you have it. If none of those options work try doing a fresh boot up. Just unplug the computer and push the power button in for about 2-3 seconds with the power cord unplugged now plug the computer in again this resets the computer to default restart your computer. Labtec webcam not working why i did every thing my computer not detecting this ****** i install all the posible drivers already i used window xp. I hate this man.

ok, uninstall all related drivers to this camera,

Now using the supplied disk install the camera software but please do not connect the camera YET, if the camera is already connected,
remove the camera and reboot,

so you installed the camera software now plug the usb camera in, it will now detect the install camera software and work.

gewiz.

Please reply with the model of the camera. You will most likely be able to go to the manufacturers website, and download drivers straight from them.

Your disc must you converting from ISO format to UDF format; the same systems can read that (WIN and MAC too).
You can do it with the Nero burning program, with the menu "create UDF disk".
Otherwise you must convert your files what contains the cam's drivers to *.dmg format,MAC os can read it too.
Hope,that will helps to you.

Gabe
