Question about Epson Stylus Photo R220 InkJet Printer
If you can get to the nozzles, soak them in hot water (almost boiling), set on CLEAN cotton cloth, repeat several times. Nozzles should exhibit color of ink. Do this until all areas on cotton cloth are saturated or have no more ink. Maybe 3 or 4 times. replace into printer and replace ink. Epson has updated this printer and I use the 320 which is a couple years newer than yours and couple years older than current models. If you get it working, use the 'ciss' ink and DO NOT run out. The ink (obvious to you at this point) dries out and hardens inside the nozzles.
Hope this helps.
