Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player

1 Answer

When I turn on my sansa clip it says "Not enough space for Music DB. Please free 30MB." then turns off. I plug it into my computer and it charges like normal, but when I go to free up space it says my sansa is full but there is nothing in any of the files. My computer gives me the option of deleting all files on my sansa, I try this but it gives me an error message saying that it cannot delete the files because it is full. Is it possible to fix this?

Yes the sansa clip has a very small reset button on the top or you can reformat from the pc or the device itself

Not working

I had the same problem. I re-formatted the player, and now it works fine. Sure, formatting erases all the music, but at least it works now!

To format, just go to "My Computer", find your player in the list, right click on it, then select format.. you're done!

Had this same problem. You need to lock turn off the player. put it into the locked mode and hold down the middle button before plugging it in. Then back up and reformat.
