Remote wont turn tv on

If your remote serves multiple units, make sure it's in the right mode for your TV. (not dvr, dvd player, tuner, other source...). If the TV will not turn on manually (with the power switch on the TV), then make sure it's plugged in and there is power at the plug (try a different power source). If your remote has been out of battery power, sometimes it needs to be reset / reloaded with the correct code for your TV. Check your remote and / or your TV manual for the procedure.

Toshiba Satellite m305-s4910

remove the battery pack and power source. make sure nothing is plugged into the laptop. hold down on the power button for 30 seconds. then reinstall battery, plug the the adapter into a known live power source (the real reason for your problem) and power it up!

My DVD play will not turn on

Hi,
Try changing the power source and connect it.Make sure the power cable is completely plugged into the power source.
If still can't turn on,take it to a repair shop and have the power cable replaced.

Hope this helps.Thanks!

I am trying to hook up my ps3 but it says change resolution source

make sure everything is plugged in correctly. also make sure that the input/source of your tv is correct. If all these don't work, then: 1. unplug both the tv and the ps3 2. plug them both back in 3. turn the tv on first make sure it is on the right hdmi source. 4. turn the ps3 on by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds until it beeps.

the ps3 start screen should show up now.

Problem start about a week ago. I needed a new power source and purchased a "generic" unit. Now, every time I plug into car outlet, the unit assumes that the source is plugged into a USP port...

Have you checked the polarity of the Generic unit. There will be a symbol on the GPS where the power is plugged in which will state whether the outer of the plug is positive or negative, make sure the symbol on the generic unit matches this.

Speakers have no sound

Please check the below mentioned things :
Verify the AC power cord is plugged into the wall outlet. Turn the VOLUME knob on the right speaker until you hear a click sound. An LED will light next to the knob when the power is ON. Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to raise the volume. Check volume level on the computer sound card or alternate audio source device, and set at mid-level. Check plug connections on the audio source. Make sure the signal cables are inserted firmly into the correct jacks. Make sure the 3.5mm stereo cable is connected and fully inserted into the "line-out," "audio-out," or the headphone jack of the audio source. Test the speakers on another audio device. Remove the 3.5mm stereo cable from the audio source device and connect it to "line-out," "audio-out," or the headphone jack of another audio source.
And if in in case u r unable to get it working ..
Replace the speakers ..

My cigarette lighter doesn't work. I've checked all the fuses and they are fine. I have tried plugging in my cell phone and sirius power sources but they still do not work

Then the problem isn't the lighter element but the power source, are you sure you are replacing the correct fuse?

Check that power is reaching the end of the wire just before the lighter plug and trace back from there with a power tester.

Wii power source probably broken

Plug something else into the adapter to make sure it works, if it works you may have blown the Wii's fuse which will need repair.

I need a power source adapter for my Nortech

I have a similar unit with tandem DVD's.
Chances are that your power source is good and the problem is the power port on the side of the unit. Both of my units have a broken post on the back of the circuit board. I've tried to solder them with limited success. One lasted two weeks, the other has brought me to this site looking for a service center. I'm sure it's a poor manufacturer design that puts too much stress on the solder post.
