Question about Remington MB-400 Beard Trimmer

Open Question

I have the Remington MB-400 and need to replace the titanium blades because they got damaged when I dropped it. I can't seem to find replacement blades. Been to the Remington website and they don't seem to offer them. Where do I get them?

SOURCE: What is the procedure for replacing the batteries

There are three screws on the back of the shaver to be removed. One is easy to see. The second is visable when you extend the trimmer. The third is hard to get to and the trimmer must be disjointed at the top to get to it. Once all three screws are removed, you can remove the back cover. There are two batteries. To remove them you will need to unsnap and remove the long metal clip and then unsolder the wires connected to the batteries. There may also be a gummy substance holding a wire to the side of one of the batteries. You will need to use a razor blade to seperate it off along the side of the battery. Once the old batteries are removed, you can solder in new batteries and ten reassemble the shaver.

You will find batteries at See link below. You will need to order two.

The shaver head stopped moving. Yet when I take the heads off the black pins are moving. Any Help

The heads are either damaged causing the blades to lock up or it is clogged up to the point that they can no longer turn. Inspect the outer combs for damage. If damage is visable, you will need to replacethem. You will find replacements for R-950 at See link below

If no damage is visable, take the blades out and thoroughly clean them. You can soak in rubbing alcohol to help break up any greasy build-up

My Remington is charged but doesn't work.

Most likely, the heads are either damaged or are too clogged up to spin. First, try disassembling the blades and cleaning them out thoroughly. If this is not the problem, you may need to change the heads. Remington suggests changing the heads every 12 months. You will find these for model R-650s at See link below
