No heat in dryer

Check your exhaust leading from your dryer because kinks and lint blockage are the leading cause for exhaust high temperature thermal fuse to burn out causing it to run with no heat. The thermal fuse for a front loading 110.88752791 is part number=> 3399849 Thermal Fuse

I don't seem to be getting any heat

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

If you have already tried cleaning the vent then the problem is with the Thermal fuse. When the thermal fuse goes bad it cannot be reset and replacing it is recommended repair. It is located on the blower wheel housing inside the rear panel to the exhaust duct. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Dryer won't dry

Well lets talk about it a minute. The ignitor is ok because it does glow. The flame sensor is ok because the ignitor is working. The only other thing in the circuit is the solenoids. So what goes wrong? Those coils get hot and quit with age.7ecd66c.jpg Replace them and the dryer will come back to life.5dc4e80.jpg

Dyer will heat for a short time then blow lukewarm air and then cool air.

All dryers made within the last decade have a noister sensor that senses the heat flow. If the exhaust vent is clogged up with any lint the sensor will shut the burner completely off. Check the vents thoroughly from the dryer to the outlet oat the wall. If clogged ajnd cleaned it will operate correctly again. If not the sensor is at fault

Kitckenaid dyer KGYe6778WH1 Dyer won't heat

This is most likely due to the coils on the gas valve, they can become unstable and cause the symptoms you are describing. The coil kit is part number 279834 and runs about $20.00. It is replaceable from the front and not too hard to do.

Side note: the '8' in your model number is actually a 'B'

Have to run dryer cycle 3 or 4 times to get clothes dry

If your dryer is STILL heating, but you are experiencing longer dry times and/or poor drying efficiency, the following link can give you some items to check before you assume there is a malfunction with your dryer:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3578821-dryer_takes_too_long_to_dry

The number one cause of dryer heat related problems is poor exhaust ventilation. If not vented properly, a dryer will not dry efficiently, will take longer than required to dry, and will cause the heating circuits to overheat to the point of failure. The dryer will actually seem hotter as the heating circuits begin to overheat. This is also the source of many fire hazards if not resolved. Read through the link provided and review some of the potential causes.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. Please include your MODEL NUMBER, so I can determine how your dryer is configured. I hope you find this information is helpful.

My Kenmoor dryer will not start. When pushing the

send model number, an even heat board would cause this,or you can unplug dryer and open console on top and see if the even heat board is in there, check it for burn marks, there should be a tech sheet in the console that will help you out but put it back,if you have to call someone in to work on your dryer and the tech sheet is gone they might not be able to help you, there is a relay part 3405281 could be in there, there are actually two of them, there is a heat relay and a motor relay, you can change them out as they are the same part and see if motor stays running,if so change out the motor relay, but i need model number to look up your dryer

the model number you provided is actually the serial number. Most elements are in the rear if the lintr filter is on the top. If the lint filter is in the door the element is on the bottom.
