I just bought a new yellow ink cartridge, and when I put it in the printer says that the yellow ink is depleted. I changed the ink two times. What should I do?

If you are using off brand cartridges that are remanufactured (refilled), that may be your problem. I have had several HP printers and when I used refilled cartridges, it wouldn't print. I stay with genuine HP ink cartridges. Just my opinion!

My yellow ink ran out and I finally replaced all inks this evening. Now, with all new inks, I keep getting a message that the yellow needs to be replaced. Any suggestions? I've turned off the printer,...

I had the same problem with mine but I bought a refill cartridge instead of a new one and went through three refilled cartridges when I found that it was that I needed a brand new one. For some reason, the HP printers and some other printers need to know that you are using the same brand of ink as the printer. if it is another brand it wont except it and it wont let you print anything! So make sure it is a brand new hp brand ;)

Epson rx560 printer no yellow

I thru out an epson ink jet and never bought one again. I did not use it that much and the ink dried in the head and it would not clear out.
I toke it apart and soaked it is almost all the solvents from dish detergent lye for denatured alcohol to napa tested it each time and nota so save the frustration buy a new head or a printer instead. where anytime you place new ink the heads are changed too.

HP C7280 Printer not priting wirelessly.

Solution Replace the indicated ink cartridge(s), or press OK on the control panel to continue. HP recommends the use of genuine HP ink cartridges. Genuine HP ink cartridges are designed and tested with HP printers to help produce great results, time after time.
NOTE: HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP ink. Printer service or repairs required as a result of printer failure or damage due to the use of non-HP ink will not be covered under warranty. Follow these steps to replace the depleted HP ink cartridge(s). Step one: Replace the indicated cartridge(s)
  1. Make sure the HP All-in-One is turned on.
NOTE: The Attention light blinks when the product is turned on.
  2. Open the access door by lifting from the front center of the HP All-in-One, until the door locks into place. Figure 1: Opening the access door c01079714.jpg
  3. Squeeze the bottom of the latch below the ink cartridge to replace, and then lift the latch.
    • To replace the black ink cartridge, lift the latch on the far left.
    • To replace one of the five color ink cartridges, such as yellow, light cyan (blue), cyan, light magenta (pink), or magenta, lift the appropriate latch in the center area.
Figure 2: Lifting the latch c01079715.jpg 1 - Ink cartridge latch for the black ink cartridge 2 - Ink cartridge latches for the color ink cartridges
  4. Pull the ink cartridge towards you out of its slot to remove it. Figure 3: Removing the ink cartridge c01079716.jpg
  5. Remove the new ink cartridge from its packaging.
  6. Holding the new ink cartridge by the handle, push the ink cartridge into the empty slot. Match the color and pattern of the ink cartridge to the color and pattern on the print carriage. Figure 4: Inserting the new cartridge c01079717.jpg
  7. Close the latch, and make sure it is secure. c01079718.jpg
  8. Close the access door. Figure 5: Closing the access door c01079719.jpg
Step two: Align the new ink cartridge(s)
  1. Make sure paper is loaded in the input tray, and then press the OK button. The HP All-in-One prints the alignment page, aligns the printhead, and initializes the ink cartridges. This takes approximately 5 minutes. CAUTION: Do not disconnect or turn off the HP All-in-One during this time. You may hear the HP All-in-One making noises.
  2. Check the display for status, and then press the OK button. Recycle or discard the alignment page.
Cause The original HP ink in the indicated ink cartridge(s) has been depleted.

Printer doesn't recognise new ink cartridge

Please don't be offended if I ask that you carefully check whether you have removed all packaging
of the cartridge, including the ink seals on the heads of the cartridges you have supplied. Believe me,
this is a VERY common problem, and given your elimination by purchase of two additional cartridges
is more likely your problem than defective cartridges, assuming that all such yellow cartridges are not
DOA at FOB.
