Yes the bearings and the belt cause this, and both can be fairly easily replaced (about 2 hour job), just google your brand of dryer for help.

I have a 91 Honda prelude my belt on my alternator skweeks how can I adjust it

Not sure, but isn't this a serpentine belt which uses a spring loaded tensioner? If so, remove belt and spin all driven items to see if one of them squeaks all by itself. Include spinning tensioner pulley. If no squeak found, check for any loose or misaligned parts. Lastly, replace belt.

Sounds like your belt is slipping. Weather it is loose or a bearing is going bad and locking up in the alternator, ac, ps, or waterpump I don't know. Have someone check these items.

1998 dodge caravan replaced brake pads because they were skweeking and now they wore back down in 1 week and they skweek and smell like they are burning ?

They are probably dragging on the rotor. did you replace the rotors or have them turned down.If not that has an impact also. more than likely it
s your calipers not sliding smoothly on the slide bolt therfore not retracting like the are suppose to.

If i understand this right the brakes skweeks, and if so you remove the pads and mount anti skweek plates between the pistong and the pads,i guess you kan find this at the local dealer and are fixed in 30 minutes.

My back shock is skweekin ive but grease, and wd40 on it but its still skweeking. help!

make sure you get lube at all points, top and bottom pivot points. It could very well be the bearings need replacing though. Probably would only cost $10 bucks for new ones. Did the squeaking go away at all when you added grease?

Cherokee xj 98 skweeking noise under the middle center of jeep

All vehicles: squeak noise at center under car: likely a binding universal joint on either front or rear driveshaft. Also may give some body vibration at speed, often mistaken for out of balance tire. Stickshift cars: additionally noise can be from a bad clutch throwout bearing... generally also accompanied by vibration in clutch pedal when lightly depressed.

Skweeking brakes

Several possible causes:
  1. Did you use copper-based brake grease on the brake pins and the back of the pads?
  2. Did you clean all the old gunk off the brake pins and after doing so, where they deeply grooved? If so, you must replace them.
  3. Wrong brake pads. Some pad manufacturers list a patricular pad as being OK for a vehicle. They fit OK but the pad characteristics are wrong and they squeal like crazy or wear out in no time or give lousy raking performance etc.
  4. If the pads you removed had anti-squeal shims on the back of them did the new ones? They almost certainly should have. IIRC, they are held to the pads by some double-sided adhesive tape.
  5. If you get squeak-silence-squeak-silence... at low speed (i.e. just before coming to a halt) then the disk(s) is/are distorted. They will have to be replaced. You must not machine the discs on these brakes - there is no thickness available to do that. If you do tthey may well collapse under the heavy braking of an emergency stop with very unfortunate consequences!
  6. As someone said, the disc may be badly worn and/or grooved -check and replace if necessary.
  7. You may have a stone or piece of grit stuck between a pad and a disc. If so & it's worn a groove in the disc, you will need to replace both disc and pad.
  8. Make sure you torqued any brake bolts correctly and that you put thread sealant on them. Failure to do so can lead to them loosening in normal use. The brakes may squeak for a while if this happens but then things can get much worse...
