Desk top Computer

Recently replaced PC. Now stuck with Vista. I have two games Call of Duty and Call of Duty2 from activision. They both played on my Windows XP system. Call of Duty plays butwhen I try to start Call of Duty2 I keep getting a message that DirectX encounteed an unrecoverable error. I am also having a problem getting several other games to play in the full screen mode.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Call of Duty 4 Takes Forever to Load on PC Online

If you are on a router you may want to open the ports for online play. 28960 on TCP & UDP P.s. If you are on a linksys router the Ip that you type in your browser is most likely 192.168.1.1 and for Dlink 192.168.0.1 If you dont use either of these router companies check the manual and it should tell you the Ip address, or go into CMD prompt on windows and type in "Ipconfig"

The msi.chm refers to the windows installer help documentation.Probably by any chance, the dvd is scratched making the that particular set of installation files unreadable. Try copying the disk contents to your hard drive prior to installation. Then make the installation from hard drive. There is no other solution because the Error itself is not clear.
