Welcome to FixYa.

Since you`ve installed the control, what cycles have you used and have you run more than one time through ?

Can I ask why the control was changed or suspect ?

These when answered can be insightful in a diagnosis, I hope you can appreciate the process.

For now though I`d suggest running a diagnostic cycle, here`s how...

**To bypass a function: SHI/U 43-- Press the SCRUB WASH butto**

To begin the test program, press the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons both in at the same time as
you turn the unit on by pressing the ON/OFF button.

When released the LEDs for the two programs will begin flashing.

To check all LED indicator lamps press the SCRUB WASH button.

To start the test program, press the POWER SCRUB PLUS and REGULAR WASH buttons both in a second time.

When the test program is complete, if a fault is detected the following indicator LEDs will be illuminated.

WASH = Heating Fault
RINSE/DRY = Filling Fault

Let me know what you find and I`ll try to help move you forward from there.

Please keep me posted, Good luck.

Why doesn't the clean light come on at end of cycle of my Bosch dishwasher?

It's an energy-saving feature. This is one of the ways the DW gets a good Energy Star rating. Having a light come on and stay on would use electricity. Depending on the model, it will tell you when it is working (red light, projected graphic, etc.), and when it no longer says it is working, then it's done. No light necessary.

Bosch DIshwasher Woes

Does you Bosch dishwasher seem to hang up at finishing the dish washing cycle?

Since originally writing this tip 2-3 years ago (2009 maybe?), I have provided the upgrade to countless others who have had the problem. Here it is, 2013, and I continue to upgrade several control son a weekly basis. Please follow the information below, and I can assure you that your dishwasher will be up and running again - better than new!

I happen to own one of these beauties, and SHU4306, and while all the Bosch dishwashers in this series of dishwashers do an excellent job of washing the dishes, they also have a design flaw that is very expensive to fix as it requires a new controller board.

But the problem surfaced with our dishwasher a few months ago, and I was put to the test by the resident dishwasher at out house, who is not happy when the dishwasher is broken.

There is a relay on the controller board that will fail, sooner or later. Bosch even has a service bulletin for their techs on a recommended procedure to repair a burned place on the circuit board underneath the relay. However, the repair is short term, and eventually the relay will fail again (I know, I tried it.). The repair is not sufficient, and there really is a more economical, and more technically correct, way to repair the board.

After the Bosch directed repair failed, I pulled off my dufus cap, put on my Engineering cap, and dug in. Here, I found the failed relay, and discovered the flaw in the board design. Will not stay light, put in new flame sencer & cleaned all grounds what else may be wrong ?

If flame stays on a few seconds it may be the control board, depending on model/brand there may be a bad connection on the circuit board, solder joint may be cracked not allowing the sensor to send signal to control board. Also check the sensor wire as it may be bad.
Note: make sure all the burners are igniting and clean gas orifices as necessary.

Pilot light will not stay on Bosch natural gas tankless water hea

Check to make sure the flame of the pilot is hitting the thermocoupling. If not then you can use compressed air to clean the pilot port and relight and check again. If the flame is hitting the thermocouple, then it may need to be replaced.

The Bosch model and serial number are located on a sticker generally found on the right hand side of the door as well as underneath the kick panel at the floor.
