Eee pc power trouble

-   for the 8 days my asus eee pc 4g surf hasn't been turning on. I hit the power button, and two lights come on (the hard drive light and the wireless card light) then the lights turn off. Also, when I plug it into a wall, those same to lights blink every 30 seconds or so as if I was repeatedly hitting the power button, but I never even touch the power button as it is doing this. I opened it up 3 days ago, and found a broken red fan wire, I soldered the wire back together, but it still won't turn on. the LCD screen is broken, so I unplugged it from the motherboard and tried turning it on again, but it still won't turn on. I have tried almost everything, including removing all the wires and pressing the power button. the power supply is fine, so is the battery, I checked them both.

here is a list of what i have tried doing already:
-unplugging lcd screen then pressing the power button.
-unplugging fan, speakers, mic, wireless card, RAM, bios battery ( i removed it then plugged it back in after a minute) then pressing the power button.
-i tried removing the laptop battery(not the bios battery) then pressing the power button.

After I did all of the above, I got the same result after pressing the power button, the hard drive light and the wifi light turn on for a split second, then turn off.

So what is wrong with my computer? and can I fix the computer?(if it can be fixed, please tell me in detail exactly what to do, because I am not that good with computers)(note: I already know that I would have to buy another lcd screen)-   brenmrll

-   My product doesnt charge, when I connect the charger the LED light flashes, and when i disconnect it doesnt... I tried removing the battery from the product, but now it doesnt power on at all. -   Guest

-   hello, I have a brand new asus ee pc notebook, i think i turned it on a couple of times only, and now it won´t run right, it does turn on but then it gets stuck, i´ve tried to reset it but it does the same thing over and over...
what else can i do?, oh, and i have also tried to reset it pressing the tinny button in the back, and nothing!....thanks for any help you can provide!
