(1) Loose hinge
(2) No longer heating food
(3) Electrical smoke when microwave is ON
Clarification Request
by MicrowaveSvc, posted on May 22, 2008
The door hinge must be properly aligned and tightened or the oven will either not heat or may even blow the fuse or circuit breaker when door is opened or closed.
The electrical smoke may be from grease or food debris on or behind the waveguide cover, but the door hinge needs to be addressed first.

To add to my previous clarification request, the smell may be coming from the magnetron. It will overheat if the cooling fan is not running.
But again, I likely covered it in my previous Clarification Request, but if you still want help, Please reply back with your brand and model number so we can help you.
