1. Power off machine.

2. Using a metal paperclip, insert it into left side of top needle. It must insert at least 1" deep. Insert it into slot on right side and again from back of needle.

3. Remove KCup cradle. Separate bottom from top. In the top section, insert the paperclip up into bottom needle from the bottom upwards. It will not go all the way thru and this is normal.

4. Reassemble KCup cradle and reinsert it back into coffee maker.

5. Power on machine.

6. Brew a cup of water only. There may be coffee grounds in the water and these should eventually clear during the remaining steps. NOTE: A large cup brew cycle should output a full 8 ounces (235cc). Less means there is still a blockage

I LOVE YOU, WANT TO MARRY YOU AND HAVE YOUR LOVE CHILD. IT WOORRKKEEDD!!!!!! You saved my K from the screwdriver...I was going to start tearing it apart to see what was wrong because this thing was doing some crazy stuff.....sputtering like an espresso machine, not sucking water into heating pot, and all this in about 15 seconds. Started this all these crazy actions by first not completeing cycle for 3 or 4 times and then would finallly make a cup of coffee, then went to water just barely dribbling out, then to nothing and finally the de-scale light came on. It wouldn't even **** up the vinegar to start the de-scale process.

Descale

You need to purge the system. Clean the upper needle port with a paperclip end. Stick it all the way up the tube and into the reservoir. That will allow water and air to push out from the chamber. Make certain the Water Filter is changed. Blow out the tube from the lower water container with Canned Air. Always use Distilled or Filter water as city water has too many minetrals that collect inside of the heating chamber.

Our Keurig only dispenses a partial cup of coffee. We descaled as recommended and did the paperclip cleaning of the need,es and no improvement. When we press brew, it draws an appropriate amount of water...

Keurig coffee maker dispenses only part of a cup (about 5 ounces) after brewng one cup. Running a second clear cup (w/o K-cup) shows coffee grounds in cup of clear water. the maker will then brew a full cup of coffee. It appears that the top pin is too long and goes into the coffee after it punches through the top of the K-cup. Some of the gorunds appear to get stuck in the top pin.
