    Hi,
On the face circuit board there are three little lamps that can be replaced by desoldering from the circuit board. These are the backlights for the display. I just need to know where I can purchase them. Thanks.

I don't believe there are replacement lamps for that unit, if the display has died or the backlight has died, it is part of the actual display. That model is a Toyota exclusive... you may be better off just getting a replacement unit from ebay of the same model if that is what you are looking for. There is no easy way that I know of to "re-light" the display without replacing the whole face, which is nearly impossible, aside from buying another unit and taking it off of that, and if you are doing that, you may as well use the other unit...

Hmm, ok I think I am thinking of another model then, if you are going to be able to get those lamps it will be from Delphi directly, I can't find anyone that sells "delphi" parts... I'm sure they don't make the lamps of course, if you can get an OEM type number off one I can locate it for you. Otherwise you will want to call 877-Go-Delphi or 1.888.809.9800to try and locate the lamps, those are both numbers for Delphi.

    Sorry about the confusion :(

Remove radio

Replace the CD player. To pull the plastic baffle off the dashboard: Adjust the heating vents so they point downwards. Grab the plastic bar between the heating vents and the stereo. Pull. Remove the screws from the front of the mounting brackets. Pull out the crappy stereo. Unplug the antenna and the wiring harnesses. Transfer the mounting brackets to your new stereo. Cut off the big wiring harness (unless you're lucky enough to have a replacement stereo that accepts the same kind). Connect the wires to the wires on your new stereo's harness. Playing video audio through car stereo Toyota Matrix

You're probably gonna need a wired FM modulator. That part will take an audio output and run it into your antenna plug on your radio. It will use a FM channel, but it's wired directly to your stereo. So no static as found with wireless FM transmitters.
