Question about Maytag NMPEB08F2A Air Conditioner
I seem to have lost the exhaust hose in a recent move. I called Maytag, but they do not carry the replacement hose. I tried several other parts dealers and no luck. Any idea where I could find a hose? Or, how to go about rigging a makeshift replacement that wont leak?
THanks for your suggestions!
Have you tried a dryer vent kit from your local hardware store?

I have the same problem. I have the same Maytag portable aircon and I cant find the window kit and vent kit. What do I do with the window kit?

Go to RepairClinic.com -- if you call them and give them your Maytag's part number they can direct you to the precise part. They carry a Sharp Item #1055132 for $25.00 that they say is the same as the part for the Maytag. It looks like the dryer vent kit should work too (both 4" diameter) and at $10 cheaper.
