I used to have Outlook synced with Google calendar, and then my BlackBerry would get updated when I put things into Outlook (via, I think, Google calendar). Then, I switched to IMAP, and now it seems that things don't sync up anymore. I think my expert would need to be really really good at understanding how google calendar syncs up with BB and outlook to solve this problem. I think the problem may have to do with moving to IMAP. Now, my cpcsearch.com email is the only one that BB recognizes - whereas it used to recognize my tdwconsulting.net email also. Now, with IMAP, we have tdwconsulting.net forward to cpcsearch.com, which works great for imap. but since i use tdwconsulting.net for my google calendar, it presents a problem. the thing is, i need to use tdwconsulting.net for my google calendar, b/c that is what i'm always logged in as when using other google services that i need to use. in other words, i cannot just switch my google calendar login - i think it needs to stay the same, due to my work in adwords all day....

If we are going to summarize the problem:

1) The tdwconsulting.net email is not being recognized by your BlackBerry.

2) You are using the tdwconsulting.net to sync up with Google Calendar.

3) You need the tdwconsulting.net email to work with your BlackBerry, so that you could view the Google Calendar that is associated with tdwconsulting.net.

Let me explain this to you:

First, calendar sync is different from e-mail sync. Because they are running on different applications. Calendar sync is using the sync plugin and e-mail sync is using the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).

Second, I think that Google Calendar is still synchronizing with your tdwconsulting.net e-mail. It's just that this e-mail account is not getting sync with your BlackBerry, that is why the Google Calendar is not showing as well in your BlackBerry. It appears that the only problem is e-mail sync. Once you resolve this e-mail sync problem, the Google Calendar will also show in your handheld.

Third, all you have to do is to contact your e-mail provider for the domain "tdwconsulting.net" and ask for the INCOMING and OUTGOING Mail Servers for IMAP.

Once you have the correct, incoming and outgoing mail servers, check the e-mail account settings in your BlackBerry to verify if you have entered the correct mail servers. If not, then change the mail servers with the correct one.

Once you see that the e-mails for tdwconsulting.net starts to download in your BlackBerry, just wait until the handheld completed the download. And the Google Calendar should appear in your hand held again (if it was working before).

I hope this helps...and good luck!

How do i sync my htc hd7 phone (windows mobile) with outlook xp

I have Outlook 2010 client on my PC. My ISP mail account is forwarded to Outlook via POP3 mail account. I also have a gmail account to which I forward all mail to from my ISP mail address. My gmail calendar is bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook calendar using 'Google Calendar Sync' and likewise my gmail contacts are bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook contacts using 'Go Contact Sync'. then it was a simple matter on my Windows Phone 7 to create a Google mail account to my gmail account. I can create contacts, calendar entries in either Outlook, Gmail or my phone and they are all sync'd with each other. 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Go Contact Sync'' are free downloads.

Please follow the next steps.

* If you don't have a Google calendar then you can create one here http://www.google.com/calendar/

* Still with the ipad, from within the Microsoft exchange enter your gmail/email address, leave the domain field empty.
* Enter your password into the screen. Select next from the upper right corner. A message saying “Unable to Verify Certificate” will come up, Click accept.
* A new window, populate the server field with “m.google.com" click next. A new window will ask you to select what will be synchronized from the Exchange server, make your selections and select done.

I have switched from IPAQ with Chapura to HTC w/ Windows. I have multiple calendars on Outlook and want to have them also on the HTC. My tech team told me that I can handle via Catagories, but it doesn't...

you may be able to use google calendars to link your outlook with, google calendar will color code your different calendars. if you are successful with that, then google has a program called google sync that you can use on your windows mobile phone. the steps for setting up your windows mobile phone is on the google sync site. you will use activsync on the windows mobile phone to insert your google credentials and then it will wirelessly sync your contacts/calendar from your phone with gmail/google calender

Can you sync the palm calender to a blackberry 8330

if you tell the palm hotsync program to sync with outlook, you can dump your calendar into outlook, and when you sync your blackberry with the desktop manager you can tell it to sync with outlook as well, and that is how you can transfer the calendars.

How to transfer contacts to blackberry from pc

you should go to blackberry's website and download the latest version of the blackberry desktop manager. download it and then goto synchronize and then configure sync. tell desktop manager to sync with outlook for contacts and calendar and then select sync and it will synchronize your pc and your bb.

if you use gmail, you can goto m.google.com/sync on your bb and then download google sync. goto your outlook and export your contacts as a .csv file and then import them into your gmail accont. when you login to the google sync app on your bb, it will then wirelessly sync your contacts on your bb with your gmail account.

Caalendar on my desk top for my blackberry curve 8300

the blackberry will be using the Outlook calendar to update its information. its quite easy to use. What's happening is that the items calendared on the BB are syncing with the "private" calendar under the username (Outlook Today - Username - Calendar), and not the "public" calendar (All Public Folders - John Doe). No items are marked as "private" on the BB.

Install the Blackberry Desktop manager software and after its done go to the Syncronize Button. Once inside look to the left for configuration synchronization click this button it need you to be online to do this as well. inside it will list the many programs that can be used to sync your blackberry make sure you have already setup your outlook so that it can pick up the new settings your creating. once your all done look for the top upermost button on left of BDM ( blackberry desktop manager) and click syncronize to sync your blackberry. now once it is done your BB only needs to be plugged in and it will autosync itself. look in your outlook for new entrys and popup

Bb calendar sync

You may need to clear out the calendar database first on the BlackBerry device, and then try to synch again. Do the following:

1. Connect your BlackBerry via USB.
2. Open Desktop Manager and go to the Backup and Restore option.
3. Select Advanced.
4. The Desktop Manager will show the device databases on the right-hand side.
5. Scroll down and highlight the entry that says Calendar, then click on the Clear button.

Once Desktop Manager has cleared the calendar database try to sync again.
