Hi, the problem could be with the power lead so give another lead a try if you have a mate who has got one ask them to bring their power lead round to try, if it works you need new lead if it dont then this would suggest that the power part of the board has over heated and fried a chip if this is the case you will need to send it off so check if you have any warranty left or not

make sure you dont do the following
play it whilst its on carpet
play it whilst its on top of another device such as dvd or sky box

doing the above will cause it to over heat and will lead to expensive repair bill.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

Wii shows up as "no signal" on T.V. It worked fine until I turned the wii off. All connections are fine.

Sounds to me like its a issue with the TV accidently being put on the wrong AV settings. Double check to make sure your on the right settings for instance av1 on your cables and av1 on the tv settings through the menu or remote control options. If that isnt the issue try it on another tv just to be sure it still isnt a tv component.

You can also double check to make sure nothing is lose or backwards getting one of the colors in the wrong position (we all have done it hehe).

Also try unplugging the wii, all together and unplug the power cord from the unit and from the wall leave it unplugged for 2min minimum and this will do a soft reset on the unit. Nintendo taught me that one hehe.

The green indicator does not light up.

Try to put it in a cooler room, or set it so that the aerator isnt blocked, and blow off some dust if its on the aerator and on the Wii itself. Hope its solved now!

My wii control the lights blink all four do it has new batterys in it whats up

You need to sync it again with your Wii, that happens sometimes:

1 Turn on your Wii Console
2 Remove the battery cover on your Wii remote, and press the red button thats in there.
3 Open the flap on the front of the Wii Console where the SD card can go, and press the red button in there.
4. When the blinking lights stop, syncing is complete!

Whats wrong with my wii?

You have a broken Wii. Return it to Nintendo for repair. I hope it's under warranty. There's no way to fix this yourself.
