I have emailed 4 times with no response! I am really getting mad! I up-graded to Panda Global Protection for $100.90 from Panda Security at renewal time in August, and, I was also charged $84.41 for renewal in addition to the up-grade charge. To make matters worst, the renewal got charged to my X-wife's card because she renewed for me last year when we were still married. She is not happy, very not happy and emails me every day or so to get the false charge re-credited to her card. This is David Shadd, Client 75950180; oh8ing@knology.net Do something now!@!!!

go to start menu and open control panel,in that open add or remove programs and choose the panda global protection software and click on remove you will get an option to remove,repair and modify the program select repair the software will get reinstalled.please do vote for my solution so that i can improve

I renewed my subscription on 3/19/10 Confirmation # 784856239 for 1 yr starting 3/26/10 for a total of 57.98 Wich you debited for bank for. But my computor shows I have not protection. What is the problem?...


Is it still installed, have you opened up Norton to see if you have re-enabled protection. Check your emails as they might have sent you a registration key. My advise would be to contact them via telephone as emails usually take a while to get response

I have been trying for days to cancel my Panda Internet Security services. They are absolutely UNforthcoming about how to cancel an automatic renewal. There is not a single link on their entire website...


oh so bad. i don't think this option is possible to you. but, as you have said, you cannot contact them, so you need to do something from your end to stop the auto-renewal of your subscription.
1. try to go to the page that you said where you can change your credit card information. change the info if it is possible, so that your card will not be charged for renewal. change tha card number, the 3-digit code, your name, whatever just to deny the automatic renewal. when they can't charge the card you entered, then your renewal is denied, and you can buy another antivirus product. I don't know if this is possible in your case. just a suggestion
2. call your Credit Card Bank issuer and asked them to deny the auto-charging done by the software-vendor. In my own case, with HSBC, they are very very very cooperative. they put my account on "monitor" and they called me right away when the alleged "floating" auto-charge was the one i wanted to cancel. they told me about the name of the company making the charge and when I confirmed that it was the non-responsive phone company, they blocked it and I was out of perpetual trouble.

have you tried to turn it on in safe mode (pressing F2 or F8 repeatedly during beginning startup) and then run a scan

"Getting error 0005:12057 when activating panda global protection


Activation Error 0005:12057 1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools -- Internet Options
3. Go to the Advanced tab
4. Uncheck the following checkboxes as shown in the screenshot below:

Check for server certificate revocation
Warn about certificate address mismatch

5. Close Internet Explorer and open it again so that the changes take effect
6. Try to activate now

Windows Restore only displays one restore date; history is gone.


Restores are only recorded when a system change is made or you manually set one. Since panda is a program and not a system change it will not set a restore date. Uninstall panda. Go to c:\program files and delete Panda Software folder. In Vista go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\ (where user is your user account) and delete all folders related to panda. In XP that same folder will be C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data
