The top thread keeps getting jammed up in the bobbin area. How do I fix this? I have changed the needle, rethreaded it, changed the tension back and forth...

Why does the Babylock Espree question point to the Brother PE 150 V? Are they the same machine?

The top thread will not go over the bobbin,it goes under the lip of the bobbin,It just started this, help please!

Apprenticewe just found that if you are using an aftermarket bobbin (even produced by brother) that they are not the same size and once we put an original bobbin back on it fixed it perfectly. the aftermarkets were a bit larger and did not fit in the case as well. Good luck

GuruIf the machine is threaded properly, the tension is set somewhere in the middle, the bobbin is the correct size and the needle is inserted properly then you probably have a problem with the bobbin case. Remove the bobbin case and examine it for any kind of scratch or rough spot or needle puncture. If you find such a spot you will need to polish it with emery cloth or something very smooth.
