the default ipaddress for that is 192.168.0.1 you will need to set your computer with a ip address like 192.168.0.2 then you should be able to access it. be sure to change your computer back to DHCP after you reset the router

Using the Airport utility on your macbook (located in your Utilities folder) will tell you what the conflict is.....most likely you have DHCP issue or the network is at the incorrect setting.
The wizard in the utility will tell you what you should fix.

Using a wired connection:Using the Airport Utility, set up the extreme wireless with the same network name, security and password as the 2Wire but use a different channel. On the Internet Tab, change Share a Public IP address to OFF Bridge Mode. Click on Update Button.
Using a wireless connection: You will need 2 Apple devices, at least 1 Extreme and the second can be either an Extreme or Express. Replace the 2Wire with the extreme and using Airport Utility, set to "Allow this Network to be Extended". Set the second to "Extend a wireless network".

Well, this make of the router DGN2000 has been diagnosed with hardware failure. I would suggest you to contact NETGEAR and get a replacement from them.
You can log a complaint with them at my.netgear.com
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

Basically Time capsule is same as Airport extreme base station added with a hard drive to take wireless backup.Put same Network Name and password in both Time capsule and airport base station.Suppose your are making TC as a primary base station and Airport extreme as a secondary base station. Select WDS in both the base stations .In "Wireless Mode" select"Participate in WDS network" in both the base stations.Dont change rest of the options.Put TC Mac id to Extreme base station and extreme Mac ID to TC.now open the airport option in your laptop and check.you can see a single network name. Its DONE.Njoy using wireless
