Display driver r300 (by 2 users)

when i use my media player 11, i will watch a video and the screen will stop but the sound keeps on, then at the bottom there is an error message......display driver r300 has stopped responding and has recovered, how do i fix this
usually on full screen mode, picture goes off & loss of sound temporally, then message is displayed

Same, when i'm playing games it says " R300 Graphics has failed and recovered"
