Are there dice games for kids?

Yes, there are both prefabricated games, that can be bought in stores and require a board or other tools, or invented dice games, simple and original.
Here are a few websites with different kids' dice games and their rules:

I have misplaced the rules for playing the Tripoly game. My virus protection will not allow me to download them. Could you please E-mail them to me at the address below. Thank you very much. Grandma...

Game set up and ending
  • 1 Unfold the game boards and place the largest down first. Put the second-smallest board inside the largest board, matching the corners marked "elevator," and the smallest board inside the medium one.
  • 2 Give each player $3,500 in the form of two $1,000 bills, two $500 bills, three $100 bills, two $50 bills, three $20 bills, three $10 bills and two $5 bills.
  • 3 Separate out the deed cards. The first-tier property deeds have a marble textured back, the second-tier ones have a water design back and the top-tier deeds have a sky design back.
  • 4 Begin play by rolling two dice and moving your piece to the appropriate square.
  • 5 The game is over when all but one player have gone bankrupt. If playing with a time limit, the player with the most money when time expires wins.
Property, Stock Market and Travel squares
  • 1 Land on a property and buy it, if it's for sale, or pay a lease fee if it's owned. Distribute deed cards as properties are purchased.
  • 2 Improve lease values on purchased properties by adding facilities: gas stations, shopping malls and skyscrapers. The cost for each is on the deed card. Players build facilities before rolling the dice.
  • 3 Build gas stations on any property that has no other facilities. Add shopping malls and skyscrapers only if the player owns all the properties in a city. If a property has a gas station, it must be leveled before malls or skyscrapers can be built there.
  • 4 Draw a Stock Market card when you land on the Stock Market square. These cards specify gains or losses for players as well as additional moves and options. If the player must roll the dice to determine a gain or loss to his wealth, even-numbered rolls indicate gains and odd-numbered rolls indicate losses.
  • 5 Draw a Travel card when you land on the Travel square. These cards transport players to specific properties. Once there, the player can either buy the property or pay the lease fee if it's already owned.
Other Squares
  • 1 Request a salary when you land or pass by the Pay Day space. Players on the bottom tier receive a salary of $300, on the second tier a salary of $250 and on the top tier, $200.
  • 2 Use the elevator squares to move between levels. The only two ways to travel among the three tiers is via the elevator squares or Travel cards.
  • 3 Try to avoid the Rental Car corners on the middle or top tiers; if you land on them, you get sent to the Rental Car Line on the bottom tier. A player can get off this square by rolling doubles or passing the next two turns.
  • 4 Gamble money on the Las Vegas and Atlantic City squares. The player decides how much to bet and whether to wager 10 times the number on the dice or 100 times the number on the dice. An even roll means a gain and an odd roll means a loss. Each player must gamble at least once and no more than three times.
  • 5 Pay $100 to the lottery fund when you land on the Shopping Spree square. Collect the lottery funds if you land on the Lottery square on the lower level. The lottery fund also collects all losses from the Stock Market and the Shopping Spree spaces.

Run-time error "5" invalid procedure

Have you ever been able to successfully play the game? Try uninstalling the program. Then disable any anti-virus software you may have running and attempt to re-install the game. Sometimes virus scanners can cause errors with installations.

How to play

Hello there!

Do you know that? The longest recorded game everto play the Monopoly game is 1,680 hours - straight!

Here's the instructions:

1. Keep in mind that the ultimate goal is to have the most money and assets at the end of the game.
2. Make sure that you have all the pieces. The box should contain a game board, two dice, play money, 32 houses, 12 hotels, 11 tokens, a stack each of Chance and Community Chest cards, and a Title Deed card for each property.
3. Lay the board out with the Chance and Community Chest cards facedown on their respective spaces.
4. Choose your favorite token. Put all of the Players' tokens on Go.
5. Select a player to be the Banker. This person takes care of the money, buildings, and Title Deed cards.
6. Distibute the money. Each player gets two $500 bills, two $100 bills, two $50 bills, six $20 bills, five $10 bills, five $5 bills and five $1 bills for a total of $1,500.
7. Have each player roll the dice to see who goes first. The highest roll wins, and play moves to the left.
8. Roll the dice and move that many spaces.
9. Buy a property from the Bank, if you wish, when you land on it. If yo opt not to buy a property on your turn, the Banker may auction it to the highest bidding player. Bidding can start at any price and anyone may bid on the property.
10. Pay rent if you land on a property owned by another player. He or she must remember to ask for it before the player after your throws the dice.
11. Take a card if you land on Chance or Community Chest and follow the instructions.
12. Keep the dice if you roll doubles - once your turns is over, you may roll again.
13. Go to Jail if you roll doubles three times in a row.
14. Collect your salary of $200 from the Bank everytime you pass or land on the Go.
15. Get out of the Jail by any of these methods: Use a Get Out of Jail Free card; pay a $50

Need instructions for the game count across by Cadaco

Count Across™ Instructions

OBJECT OF GAME

The first player to place four chips in a row, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally wins the game.

Contents

1 Wooden Tray with Content Holder 1 Clear Plastic Slide with holes

1 Two-sided Number Board

25 Purple chips 25 Green chips 1 pair of dice

Set-Up

Each player selects a set of chips (purple or green). Decide which side of the number board to play, Addition Only (blue side) or Addition & Multiplication (red side). Line up the Number Board underneath the Clear Plastic Slide so that the numbers line up through the holes. The raised tab on the Clear Plastic Slide should be face up. Slide the Number Board and Clear Plastic Slide into the Wooden Tray together. The Number Board should rest underneath the Clear Plastic Slide. Each player rolls the dice once to determine who plays first. The player with the highest roll goes first (Player 1).

Addition Only Play

The Player 1 rolls the dice and adds the two numbers on the dice. Places one of your chips on the Number Board over an empty number space that matches the total of the dice.

Example: A play a rolls a 5 and a 3. 5 + 3 = 8

Player 1 finds an empty number 8 space on the Number Board and places a chip into that slot. Player 1 may choose any open 8 on the number board, but may only place one chip on the board per turn.

Player 2 then rolls the dice and places a chip in a space on the number board that matches the total of the dice. Play continues back and forth until one player gets 4 chips in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally. A player can remove an opponent's chip from the board in the following instances:

• If a player rolls doubles, they may remove an opponent's chip if it occupies a space that matches the total of the dice. Example: A player rolls a 4 and a 4. 4 + 4 = 8 and if an opponent has a chip in an 8 space on the Number Board, the player may remove the opponent's chip and replace it with his or her own chip.

• If a player rolls the dice and there are no empty spaces matching the total of the dice, the player may remove an opponent's chip that occupies a number space that matches the roll (if only the player's chips occupy those spaces). Then the play ends.

Addition & Multiplication Play

The rules are identical to the Addition Only play, except on each roll players may choose to either Add or MUltiply the numbers rolled. Example: A player rolls a 5 and a 3. The player may do one of the following:

• Add the dice together (5 + 3 = 8) and place a chip over an empty 8 space on the number board

• Multiply the dice (5 x 3 = 15) and place a chip over an empty 15 space on the number board

Warning! Do not throw out the Content Holder. It serves as a platform for the number board as well as storage for the chips and dice.

PS3 Problem playing all game. PLEASE HELP!!

Hi,

You will be glad to know that this is caused by a widespread issue occurring right across the board at this very moment with the PSN Network. It is not a problem specific to your console alone.

Some consoles are not synchronising trophies properly with PSN due to an internal clock error and this is causing problems exactly like you describe. The issue occurs only with games that have trophies.

It is expected that Sony will soon have this resolved - within 24 hours they are saying maximum..

For a full breakdown please look at this FixYa Tip.

If the solution helps, please leave a vote for it. Thanks.

at present there is no solution for the problem other than time, it is believed that the whole of psn has crashed or the servers have been taken offline while they update them, they just needed an error code to "explain" their technical faults i would imagine.

Problem with Tetris on PS2

Maybe the disc is scratched (Check the bottom of it) which would explain the disc reading error, or the lens are dirty (Should get a DVD Cleaning KIT), which also explains it.
