Question about Sony Network Walkman NW-HD3 MP3 Player
I have a NW-HD3 player which i love, the problem is that i have filled it.Can a replacement 40GB hard drive be installed in place of the 20 GB one,i have seen ZIF ipod hard drives on ebay for cheap money, will these be compatable,& how easy will it be to install any software that will be needed to run the player, removing & fitting the hard drive is not a problem for me.
The hard drive that u are looking at on ebay (make sure its the same size in lenght, widith and thickness) also make sure the connector end is compatible too...the software (hidden also) is to be copy from old hard drive (nw-hd3) to the to pc (along with the 19 gb of media real easy just a little time comsuming)....now open device exchange hard drive..once completed, format than install all of software to new 40 gig...then install all the media you just copy to pc, from pc to new 40 gig...now you should have 20+ free space....have fun feel free to rate if helpful
