My Samsung DVD-VR325 will not open the DVD tray! It says "no disc, open, then Load" and goes off.

I did what you suggested and the tray will still not open. I can hear the motor starting, but it goes to "Load" and then goes off.

Hi,
Unplug dvd/vcr combo from wall socket for minute to get it reset, replug back in and turn it On and eject dvd tray.
If that does not fix the issue, let me know does disc tray moves little bit to eject or do you hear loading motor sound inside that ejects/ loads disc tray?
Thanks.

OK, it sounds that loading belt is either broken or worn out in dvd loading mechanism and need to be replaced.
If you are handy with electronics stuff fix then unplug unit from wall socket, tape off top cover, unplug connectors of dvd mechanism, remove its screws and take it out and inspect loading belt that drives disc tray, replace it and put things in reverse order and check.
If you feel uncomfortable doing so then take it in local repair shop.
Let me know if you have additional question.
    Thanks.

Dvd plays but will not eject. Screen says open but then goes to play.

Hi there,

Well first of all you may try the following steps-
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet for 30 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet.
Attempt to open the disc tray.
If the disc tray still does not open, simultaneously press the POWER + STOP + EJECT buttons.

If the above steps do not works then there may be some mechanical problem in the tray. Please post further comments if the above steps not worked.....

Good Luck!!

Thanks for using FixYa!!

WHEN I PRESS THE OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON THE DISC TRAY DOES NOT OPEN. HOW CAN I GET THE DVD OUT OF THE DISC TRAY?

Look for the small hole in your dvd rom. This hole usually can fit a paper clip. Push and hold the paperclip inside the hole to open the dvd tray.

My Samsung BD-P1400 is frozen on "load" and disc tray won't open

My player worked fine couple of days ago, then last night when powered up, message was "load" and it stayed like this forever, and tray open would not work. Tried everything, nothing worked. Left unplugged from power for 24 hrs and bingo everything worked as should. I suspect that the unit is still trying to load info from last disc which I stopped in the middle of some bonus material, even though the disc was no longer in the tray.
