Hi.

First ensure that the water supply temperature is not too low. Although the machine is a high temp self heatins, the water inlet temperature must be at 110F in this model.

If that is not the problem, then there is need to check heaters and thermostats. Booster heater or sump heater elements must be tested to ensure that they have continuity, the thermostats kits are also tested reading temperature at room, they must return zero or low impedance. If a thermostat or element reads open, then it must be replaced.

How to fix door on hobart lxih dishwasher?

Check the door hinges.. if a hinge is broke or the door came off the hinge it won't shut.... now if the door won't stay closed then the tension bar that is on the door, connecting to the hinges is broke and you will have to replace it

I have a LXiC Hobart dishmachine I do not want to use Sanitizer because my hot water is very hot. How do you disable the sanitizer pump and alarm? H.

Do you realize that to sanitize with hot water alone requires 180 degree F water? I am a hobart technician and I've never seen any business or residence with hot water anywhere near that. Residential hot water is generally approx. 120, Commercial locations generally use approx. 140, but never near 180 (tap water that hot would be a severe safety problem). Hobart LXIH machines use a built in booster heater to boost the temperature of the incoming hot water up to the required 180 deg.

I have a hobart lxih that is leaking from the backflow valve even after replacing it

Make sure your flow pressure is 15 to 25 PSI. Flow pressure below 15 PSI will cause the vacuum breaker to leak.

After pressing On - the dishwasher just sits are about 80 degrees and doesn't get any hotter when normally it goes up to about 118. Can we still use it to wash or is something wrong?

A hobart LXIH-3 uses a chemical to sanitize however a 120 degree wash temp is required as well.

Turn up your hot water tank that supplies the dishmachine, make sure your sanitizer is pumping into the rinse cycle using micro-clorine test papers and all is well.

Rinse not hot enough

145 degree is just your hot water temp and that your dishwasher hot water booster is not working assuming that this machine has worked in the past to produce final rinse water above 180 degrees. Remove the bottom panel and to the right you will see the booster tank, look for a nickel size component with a small red button on it. Try pushing on it to reset it. If that does not work, check for voltage at your heating element on your booster tank. (the thicker wires) If voltage is present then your heating elements need replacing.

Hobart LX30H washing to hot.

what temp is it washing at. washing should not be the problem. This machine is designed to rinse at 180 degrees + to sanitize dishes. The machine could be converted to a chemical sanitize, it would use bleach in the rinse water instead of 180 degree water to sanitize.
