Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
This is a problem with the lens on your XBOX. Try to use a lens cleaner to remove any dust or dirt on the lens. And still, if it does not work you can try to "slam" shut the disc tray. You can try the steps in this video:
Let me know how it goes. And please provide a feedback.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: Xbox Disc Tray Loose
If you are comfortable with taking apart your system, I would advise taking the case off and then finding the dvd-drive, removing the case on that and simply tightening the screws on the tray. Don't tighten them too much, but make sure they are snug. Then test to see if it still wobbles and it should be fixed. If you are not comfortable with taking apart your system you will need to find a repair shop that can do it for you.
Please rate, thanks!

SOURCE: wont play/read any xbox games
1 dirty lens
2 dirty disc
3 programme error
1 i think the xbox cleans its own lens but check the manual if not get a good lens cleaner.
2 clean the disc always clean your discs after and before you use them.
3 take off your hard drive and any memory cards and reset xbox to factory settings

I have had this happen about 3 times. The first time was when i figured out how to fix it. The 2nd and 3rd were temporary.(Just needed to be turned off for a moment) You need to shut the console off for atleast 15 minutes 10 at the lowest with everthing unplugged. I mean the hard drive, memory unit, and all cables, and adapters. Then after 10-15 minutes plug everything in and DON'T PRESS the BUTTONS ON THE XBOX OR THE CONTROLLERS. Press the button to open the tray and take out the game or dvd and put in a different one. If this doesn't work do it all over again and then put in a different game or dvd not the previous ones and turn on the console the same but then a soon as you get the disc in and closed in shut it off then open the tray and wait till you are at the main menu go into any program so you can't see it is reading and close the tray. If that doesn't work contact the xbox support line. Really hope this works for you.

Your Xbox's disc drive is most likely broken. This happened to me about a month ago to a used xbox I had bought. You should call Xbox Live Support. They are very helpful.
