Question about Computers & Internet
Typically a virus or malicious software infection.
Update your antivirus software, scan for viruses and remove any you find. (E.g. AVG Free Edition or Microsoft Security Essentials).
Then update your antimalware program and scan for malicious software and remove it. (E.g. Malwarebytes.org)
If you do not have programs to on your computer to perform these tasks then use the free ones I recommended above. You will probably have to use a working computer to download the files and a USB drive to copy them to your computer.
Lastly, upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 and use the Reset option to clear it of any old settings or add-ons. (Reset is explained in IE help.)
If I lost you then you need to take it to an expert. It is best not to take chances when it comes to computer security.
