Question about Xerox Phaser 7700DN Laser Printer
Loud banging noise when printer starts and will not print. Replaced all rollers and belts and still continues with the noise.
I would be willing to be it's one of two things.
Most common is a jammed gear on the imaging units. Remove all imaging units CMKY. The turn on machine. If the noise is gone, start replacing imaging unit one at a time tile noise reappears. Replace defective imaging unit.
If that doesn't work remove the accumulator belt from the right side of the machine and then turn machine on, see if noise is gone. If so replace accumulator belt.
