Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
7 updates failed to install with error code 8024AFF
I am having same problem with my Laptop and I don't even have any anti-virun install on my Laptop. Other than this as sson I install updates my laptop keeps on restarting and asking me to fix this problem with repairing windows with win dvd. Any soulution would be appreciable.

Hi Kate - What anti-virus are you running? Try disabling your anti-virus and reinstalling the updates. You may have to go to the Windows update page and re-download. Just go to Start>programs and scroll up and Windows update should be there. Let me know about your Anti-virus and what SP you have installed. If this solves your install problem PLEASE rate this as fixed. I won't be done with you yet. I'll let you know what to do from now on. If it didn't solve your problem please DON'T RATE YET.
