...maybe you do not have good thermal contact between your CPU and heat sink--this is what was wrong with my computer. This can result in your fan running fast in order to better dissipate heat. If you think this is the case, purchase some CPU/heat sink thermal paste from a computer store ($5-$20)--get one with a high thermal conductivity value, remove and clean the heat sink and fan, remove the old paste from the CPU, reinstall the heat sink using the new thermal paste, reinstall the fan. Tighten the spring-loaded heat sink screws all the way and then back each screw off about two turns.

Your CPU is overheating. When this happens the safety mechanism causes your computer to shutdown to prevent further problems. The CPU fan will need to be replaced.

Emachines laptop keep freezing and making loud buzzing noise when i listen to music. please help

The buzzing/grinding noise is probably a bad connection if you are using earphones. Put a couple of drops of rubbing alcohol on some toilet paper and clean the prong for your earphones. Wait a minute and reinsert the plug into the jack. As for the freezing up of the video, you might want to download and install your video drivers for your emachine. Go to the manufacturer's web page to find the right ones. Don't forget to reboot after installations.

94 Buick Roadmaster AC fan blowing hot and won't shut off

If you have climate control it could be the main processor. Something could be shorting the blower relay to keep it on. You would also need to check and see if the system is still full of freon.

My emachine has always had issues being slow sometimes freezing up and not shutting down...n e way I had it less than two years n its been my first computer in years so I did virus scans and all...ok today...

Loud fan noise and heat are symptoms of a dusty machine. Use canned air or a blower and dust it out. You'll want to have the machine open for this.

I have dell 3300mp,when I turn the power on it makes a very loud noise. It does not make the sound in standby or cool down. It does work and display a signal okay, but it is very loud. Sound like a fan?,...

The main fan that cools the lamp is mostly high speed when the unit is running. when it shuts down it slows the fan down, until it stops in standby. So the noise is only really loud when it is showing a picture.

try setting the fan to eco mode (slower running) and see if the noise is acceptable. If it is still too loud then you will have to replace it. Have a look at the fan and see if any of the plastic blades are missing.

When I tried to switch on my projector Acer H5360 it makes some noise then it beeps 3 times, blue led light flash 2 times and then red is steady by returns... Its brand new.. Any idea? Pls help

Ordinarily my first thought would be that the lamp is needing replacement. But if it's brand new, the lamp should be OK. Can you open the lamp compartment to see if it was broken during transit, or perhaps it's not fully seated properly. If it's a broken lamp, then I would contact the dealer you purchased it from, or contact the manufacturer directly to have it replaced. Also, is the noise loud and unusual, or just the normal sound of a projector coming on? If it's very loud, it could be the fan motor. Check that the fan is blowing. If the fan is the problem, the projector will shut down to protect itself from overheating. That, too, should be covered under the waranty.

The fan of dell gx280 producing a loud sound, how I fix it ?

Sometimes something is stuck in the grill and the blades keep touching it, other times the bearings have worn down and the fan or entire power supply needs replacing.  I used to hit my PCs noisy fan with the palm of my hand and the loud noise stopped!

Mouse keeps freezing

It maybe getting too hot. You need to blow out all vents and fans. I have seen acer laptops get too hot, easily, so you need to make sure it is dust free.

G'luck
