What type of memory card, I need for I68 4g phone? What are the steps to follow to get this memory card working? I see many issues reported about I68 phone not using the memory card saved songs etc

Hi, i think the memory card is corrupt all you need is to try format the memory card.
try the following steps
1. it will request for password.
2. enter the 1234 i.e if you have not changed the DEFAULT password given to all nokia phones. but if you have done that, type in the new password you have on the memory card.
PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER YOU HAVE FORMATTED THE MEMORY CARD, ALL INFORMATIONS AND DATA ON THE MEMORY CARD WOULD BE WIPED-OFF.

1. To unlock your mobile memory card, you need a file explorer. You may use FExplorer. To download FExplorer,
2. After finished downloading, install it to your mobile phone.
3. Insert the mobile memory card into your mobile phone. Remember, don't access the memory card through phone at this moment.
   
4. Run FExplorer and open the following location C:\system.
5. From the location C:\System, you will see a file named as mmcstore. Rename this file as mmcstore.txt.
6. Copy the file mmcstore.txt. and paste it to your computer. Now, open that file in notepad.
7. When you finished the above steps, you will find the password of that file.

You can format this phone without using any software. Please be noted that your contacts and messages saved on your phone will be completely wiped out.
Follow the steps below:
Before you begin, remove your sim card and memory card after backing up the contacts,messages etc.. from your phone memory to memory card or sim card or computer.
While the phone is Off, press *+# +Power button simultaneously (* # and power button). Hold down all the keys.


This will power up the phone and will prompts you to confirm the formatting. Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the task. If you are asked to enter Security code, use 12345.

You can also try with the code, type in *#7730# on the main screen in a similar way that you type in numbers to dial. This process will also wipe out all the contents of the phone memory.

• Copy the file mmcstore.txt. and paste it to your computer. Now, open that file in notepad.

Please put the memory card into a card reader on a PC or if your phone supports mass storage drive mode then in either case follow the following steps:

1. Your card will be recognised as a drive with a particular letter.
2. switch to command mode by typing cmd from run section in start menu.
3. change to that drive by typing e: in case your drive letter assigned is 'e'
4. type attrib -s -h *.* and press enter.
5. Now please go to that drive and check if you find the missing files.
