Question about HP Photosmart C5180 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Some of the electrical components used to build the logic board in the Cxxxx all in one printers about 2-3 years ago is failing. In my C6180, there were 4 capacitors (see green cylinder shaped component in the attached - the bulge in the top indicates failure, and that this is the likely the cause) that I replaced (cost was about 60 cents!). If you are not comfortable doing some soldering yourself, you will have to find some help - it took me about 25 min to do the repair myself. Printer works great now.
