Question about Kodak EasyShare P850 Digital Camera
There are couple of things you need to check. Few camera's have reported to have this issue from memory cards. Try to ON the camera without a memory card.If that does not solve the problem, then pull out the battery for few minutes, say 5 - 10 minutes and then reinsert to check if that would make any further help.
If that does not help, either it is a corrupted firmware problem or some electronic circuit problem that has to be repaired. You need to look for either a local tech shop or KODAK.No doubt phone, email or chat service has been discontinued for this model, however, sometimes they could ask you to send the unit for repair.Cost of repair could be anywhere between $75 - $150 depending upon the exact fault.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
