Hi, sounds as though you may have lost your motor.Turn the power off and remove the fan guard. See how easy it spins. If it is tight, the bearings are gone and you will need to replace it. See if this is a sealed bearing motor. If it can be oiled, you will have plugs at each end of the motor body. You can buy a zoom oiler at any hardware store to oil these motors. It may be sealed. You can remove the control panel and check the run capacitor. If its a dual capacitor, it will run both the fan and compressor and you will have only one. If not, and you have two, the smaller one will be for the fan. Look to see if it is swollen up, leaking oil, or is deformed in any way. If it is, replace it, this may be your only problem, or the motor could be bad causing the run cap. to go out. More then likely, you have lost the motor windings as these motors are the 1st ones to go in the summer season. If its a heat-pump, it runs year around. Check the things I have asked, and if all appear good, then change out the motor, or have it changed out. Always change out the run cap. as well when installing a new motor. Please don't forget to rate me as I know you will be kind. I wish I had better news to give you, but this happens.

Acer 5600U is loud

Probably overheating due to extreme dust clogging the CPU cooling heatsink and fan. Take off the side panel and blow it out with compressed air, and make sure all the circulation fans are running.

2002northland 36" refridgerator and freezer not

The compressor should turn on after it cools. It shuts down if it overheats to prevent damage/fire. The compressor itself could be bad but more than likely the fan is dead.

Why does my laptop keep turning off in middle of programme

Your laptop could be overheating, due to dust buildup in the fan. You can try some compressed air to blow out the dust that builds up, over time, in the fan. I also use a small fan I bought at Walmart, and let it blow over the fan area (you will be able to tell where it is by feeling the computer, and noticing it to be hotter in one area than others). You didn't mention what program it's turning off in the middle of, and, as a last resort, you might have to reinstall that program, if cleaning the fan with compressed air doesn't work. Good luck, and hope this helps.

HP Pavilion zv5000 Turns off every 10 mins and restarts itself?

When the computer is on try using that computer cleaner compressed air that comes in the can on the fan that is not working. If you hit it with the compressed air and get the fan to spin and then it starts to spin on it's own the fan could be sticking. This will cause overheating and the computer could shut down like it's doing. Also does it do it when the battery is on or a/c power or both?

Portable ac blows warm air even after i cleaned filter

Make sure that the coils are all clean, Vacume cleaner with the brush attachment on the end works well.
Sounds like your fan is only working and not the Compresser that makes the unit an "air conditioner" and not a gloryfied fan.

Check and make sure that the butten is on Cold and that the small water drawer is in correctly so the shut off switch is making good contacts. Important Make sure that it is getting enough electricity at the wall plug, Because when the ac compresser 1st turns on it uses 3-5 times the power for the intial startup, not enough juice means no AC.
The fan only uses a little to blow but AC needs alot to start.
Unit should sound diffrent when AC compreser turns on compared to fan only on mode.
