Will TurboCAD allow you to export to a .pdf instead of printing to a .pdf? Have you tried printing to a file (.prn) before turning the file to a .pdf? I had this problem after I had fixed a problem printing from Quicken. I was able to print from Quicken by changing the print option in Windows -- mine was set to "Spool documents" and I changed it to "Print directly from printer" -- the advice I was given was to change it from whatever it was set at to the other option. For printing a PDF file, I changed it back to "Spool documents" and it allowed me to print the PDF file. Try this and see if it works for you -- click the Windows Start button and select Settings, then Printers and Faxes. Right click on the selected printer and select Properties. In the properties window look for a setting to print directly to printer or spool documents -- mine was under the Advanced option. Try the option not currently selected -- in my case, I changed it back to Spool documents with Begin printing immediately -- and then try to print a PDF file. It looks like I will have to toggle back and forth when I am printing from Quicken and when I am printing a PDF file. Hope this works for you.
