Canon pixma mp460 code error 6000

I have had no problems at all untill now.. and its say error code 6000, there is no paper jammed in it

I now have the same problem. FIrst I had error code 5100 after I printed off a picture. Turned off printer, turned back on to find error 6000. THere are no paper jams.

Try to use the reset solution from this website, How to reset canon mp460. It will do a factory reset on your canon printer. It did worked for me, not the same error though but have the issues with false paper jam.

I have same proble, at this time i can resolve this problem, but i guest it's adaptor have broken, coz it can move motor again, may be, but i dont have any batery to test this

1. Press ON/OFF switch to reset the multifunction device 2. Removing paper jams MP450 / MP460 3. The MP460 may require repair

clean out your ink absorber after unplug
reset printer you still have a little credit card sized paper in your printer that you need to remove it

Canon MP460 Paper Jam

this is only a possible solution.make sure the paper is between 17 to 24 pounds thick.i once had a jamming problem and it turned out to be the printer which canon replaced under warranty.but in the process i learned paper thickness can make a difference. i was recommended 20 pounds by a staples employee.i hope this helps you.
