Question about IBM NetVista PC Desktop
Hi am having a problem with installing operating system direct form the cd rom. Woould you please help with any idea on how to go about it. At least i managed to change the language to English fro Japanesse.
For solving the problem do the following:
1. Enter to the CMOS setting by pressing the F2 or Del key.
2. Change the boot sequence as CDROM, HDD
3. Place the bootable cd having the latest OS
4. Restart the system and follow the steps for installing the OS

Use dynebolic cd make floppy from /floppy/folder/db_grub_img
copy dyne folder on hd on another pc , then put it in the netvista , use bootfloppy , done
won't boot off cdrom

Could you be more specific as to the "problem" as there are many reasons that could cause problems. Any error messages or anything and also what os are you trying to install
