1st try Fn+F7 or Fn+F8 to expand the screen.

If that doesn't work, reinstall the video driver, available a support.dell.com

after hooking it the TV we need to toogle to the external monitor.
Presentation or mirrored display mode

Game display only occupies the center portion of monitor not full screen. Thinkpad A22m w/ windows xp home SP3. Can't get the game screen to display on the full monitor screen.

It is most likely that the game is unable to operate at the resolution that your screen is set at and is compensating by sizing the game window to the required size. You might change you display resolution to a lower setting.

My IBM Thinkpad A21m was working fine, then all of a sudden, the display screen size is about half of normal. When I plug a desktop monitor into it, the screen is full size. What's going on?

right click on an area of BLANK desktop and select properties
Now go to the SETTINGS tab and check the resolution and adjust it to a little higher. click APPLY then OK

If all went well you should notice a difference If not report back to this post and w will see what else needs to be done

If it did make a difference then adjust it more if you need.

Screen adjustment of toshiba satellite 25505

There is a micro cable that runs down one side of the screen then around the hinge then under the bezel and connects to the motherboard.
If everything is fine there then follow the process mentioned below.
right click on the desktop
click on "properties"
click on "settings" tab
click on "advanced options"
click on the "monitor" tab
uncheck the box that says "hide the modes that this monitor cannot display"
if you now click the "adpater" tab and click on the button to "show all modes" a full list of all screen sizes should appear.
click "ok" to close the advanced options window
you should now be looking at the screen setting window where you can adjust the screen settings by sliding the screen resolution tab left or right to the desired scree size for installing the program.

My Dell notebook monitor display's a small screen instead of full size. Any ideas why?

Try changing the screen resolution (right-click on desktop->properties->settings->ok) or searching on Dell's website under the support section for display drivers for your model
