Hi,

There is no way you have to go for replacement only.
In the above site you can order the parts alone that needs to be replaced.

How will I replace a broken windhield wiper control arm

Depends on your car for the actual steps but generally goes like this:

  • remove both windhield wipers from their posts (look for a release clip or a nut at the base of the wiper where it connects to the post)
  • remove cowl cover of the wiper arms and motor (screws or bolts)
  • remove the bolt holding down arm assembly (you may have to disconnect from motor)
  • Replace faulty control arm
  • Reverse procedure to finish

I have a light switch with 3 wires that have to be hooked to it.3 black wires 3 white wires and 3 ground wires. The light switch has 1 place for the black 1 place for white and 1 place for ground.

You have 3 cables entering the box.
Each cable has black and white and ground wire.
You have a single pole switch.
The switch has 2 brass-colored screws and 1 green-colored screw.

1) One thing is certain: all the ground wires connect together and then connect to green screw on switch.

2) After that, we are guessing without more information.
Add a comment.

3) What does the switch control?

4) If the switch controls a hallway light, and there is another switch for the same light: then you have wrong switch. You need 3-way switch. Buy 3-way switch and re-post question at fixya.

5) If switch controls a bath fan-light combo, repost question at fixya.

6) If the switch controls a regular light, and no other switch is involved: then the following information might work. Or you need to do testing and re-post another question at fixya.

-White wires probably connect together and are covered with a wire nut.

-Then two black wires connect to one brass screw and 1 black wire connects to other brass screw.

-But which black wire?

-Only one of the black wires has power from circuit breaker. That is hot wire.
-Hot wire connects to 1st brass screw on switch. Either screw.

-And then connect one of the other black wires to 2nd brass screw. Turn on power and see if light turns on.
-Try other black wire same way.
-The black wire(s) that turn on lights on should be left connected to 2nd brass screw.
-If one black wire did not turn on lights, then that wire probably connects to 1st brass screw along with hot wire.

Would like to replace this switch with a standard light switch, whats the correct wiring connection

PLW01 has 2 wires: Black wire connects to Hot and Blue wire connects to Load wire.
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/aaaremotes/PLW01.pdf
Remove PLW01 and you have Hot and Load wires.
Standard light switch has two brass colored screws, and one green ground screw.
Connect either wire to either brass screw.
Connect bare ground wire to green screw.

Need a wiring diagram for 696 seriess switch

You don't need a wiring diagram.
The screws tell the story.

On one side of device has 2 screws.
On other side has 2 screws.
Green screw is for bare ground wire.

1) One side will have dark screws and the other side will have brass screws. The dark screws will be connected together with a brass plate. The brass screws will be separate.
-or-
2) One side will have brass screws and the other side will have silver screws. The brass screws will be connected together with a brass plate. The silver screws will be separate.

#1 Hot from breaker connects to dark screw. Wires to Load (light, fan) connect to brass screws.
-or-
#2 Hot from breaker connects to brass screw. Wires to Load (light, fan) connect to silver screws.

Wiring bath fan with Fan/ light combo. Want to operate the features on seperate switches. Have power wire Black/ White/Green. Each switch has own wire Black/White/ Green. In the unit there is a Blue/white...

If I understand correctly you are installing two wall switches.
Your switches are switch1 and switch2
Each switch has 2 brass-colored screws
If you have a double switch, see page bottom
And you are installing a fan/light combo with separate wires for fan and light.

Bare ground wires and green wires connect to each other and to green screw. A ground wire runs from fan/light to switch box where it connects to other bare copper wire and these wires will not be discussed.

Lets work from the fan/light down to the switch.

Blue-wire-fan connects to either brass screw on switch1
White-wire-fan connects to white Neutral (we'll talk about this wire as we go)

Black-wire-light connects to either brass screw on switch2
White-wire-light connects to same Neutral as White-wire-fan.

So you need 3 wires running from fan/light to your switch box.
One wire arrives at switch box and connects to brass screw on switch1
One wire arrives at switch box and connects to brass screw on switch2
One wire is the Neutral wire and it arrives at switch box and connects to other white wires inside switch box. Twist these wires together and cover with wire nut.

Now your white Neutral is connected to other white wires in switch box.
Each switch still needs another wire.

The Hot black wire from breaker box connects to brass screw on both switches

03fdf56.jpg
Pardon the crude drawing.
The switches would actually be located next to each other, but it was easier to draw like this.
Drawing shows 3 wires coming from fan-light to switch box.
The drawing shows the black and white wire arriving from breaker
The drawing does not show how the white wires are joined with a wire nut

If you have a double switch, with 2 switches stacked vertically.
The screw colors can be different.
Double switch could have brass screws on both sides, in which case your Load (fan-light) wires connect on one side of device, and your Hot from breaker connects to other side. It doesn't matter which side, but loads on one side, hot on other side.
Double switch could also have dark screw(s) on one side and brass screws on other side.
In this case, the black Hot from breaker connects to dark-colored screw(s)
And your Load (fan-light) connect to brass colored screws.

If you need more information, or if something is still confusing, answer back.

Where is the fuse?

The fuse is located inside the base of the Aerogarden 7 on the main power board, and in fact there are 2 fuses. One large 2 Amp fuse, this is easily replaced. There is a second smaller fuse that is hard soddered onto the PCB and is more difficult to replace, but can be done if you have a soddering iron and some patience.

The windshield wiper arm on the passenger side of my 2004 Toyota Sienna will not go back and forth. The driver side will move back and forth. This problem occurred after a large snow storm hit our area.

Either the second arm on the motor has come off. Or the arm splines are stripped out. The second arm connecting snap has probly come off or the clip may have broken. you can usually see the arms move inside the cowel just in front of the windshield through the holes

My key fob has stopped working..so has my spare..did they both go dead or is ther a problem with my g5

i had the same thing happen with my chevrolet malibu. open up the fob, look at the C-shaped clip that holds the battery. Th C-shaped clip should have an arm on either side of the battery and should make contact with the fob circuit board in two paces at the base of each arm. If the arm only makes contact in one place (or does not make contact at all, solder the connection(s). Hint: heat up the C-shaped clamp and apply the solder to the contact/connection point. Good Luck.
