Question about Sony Cybershot S650 Digital Camera
When I try to turn on my camera the screen says cyber-shot and then it goes blank and turns off. Also the lens will not retract. I have replaced the batteries, I've taken out the memory card and it still will not stay on....help...if U can!
Hey Aunt CC,
What is most likely happening is there is something obstructing the movement of the lens (like a piece of sand), and that is why it keeps powering down immediately when you turn the camera on. Another cause of this camera powering down immediately could be the battery cover or memory card cover is open. If those covers are not open I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician.
