The small black ink cartridge is the photo black cartridge. If you're not printing any photos that's why it is still full.

SOURCE: where is the ink cartridge in the pixma mx320...

Hi,
To find the cartridges..you have to open the 2 top covers so you can access the location.
You see, the first top cover when you open you will see the glass of the xerox...right? Now return the cover..
Now try to hold the glass body of the xerox and the top cover.. Grip them together and slowly lift it up while the printer is on
Wait for a few seconds and the cartridges of the black and color will position at the middle..

Hope that satisfy what your looking for.
Much appreciated if you could rate my help. Thanks

SOURCE: How do I change the ink on my Canon MX320...

Just open the top cover together with the scanner bed.
When the cartridge carrier move in the middle of the printer, that is the time you can replace the catridge. Lift up the top cover for the cartridge carrier and then the cartridges.

When replacing the cartridge. Push the cartridge down the carrier, you will hear a snapping sound. Return the top cover for the carrier and the scanner bed.

How to fix cannon mx320 Check ink U162 error

For many Canon printers, you can clear the U162 error by pressing and holding the Stop/Resume button on the printer. (You may need to turn off the printer and turn it back on. Then press and hold this button when the error appears on the LCD screen.)

This error can mean that the ink system is having problems pulling ink through to the nozzles or that the printer believes that the cartridge is empty/too old. You can try a deep cleaning To access this, press the Menu button several times until Maintenance is displayed. Then use the left or right arrows to navigate to Deep Cleaning and press OK. Wait until the process is complete (1 1/2 minutes). The second issue is sometimes related to the printer's firmware program that checks the cartridge identification information.

I hope this helps.

Where is reset button on MX320

Switching it off, or better, remove the power cable for 30 seconds should be enough to reset the printer. But when even new cartridges are giving trouble you should check the contacts. Not only from the cartridges, but the ones in the printer (cartridge holder)

I bought a new Cannon PIXMA MX320 with no ink cartridge, the manual says that it requires PG-210 & CL-211, while the cannon site says it works with the PG-510 and CL-511. so my question is do they both...

Hi,

Cannon cartidge numbers are quite confusing to say the least, but your printer requires PG-510 and CL-511, PG is black and CL colour.

The 210/211 is a non european number, but they are the same as CL-511 and PG-510.

Hope this helps.

How do I change the ink on the Cannon MX330? I cant find where the cartridge is

I am writing this to enquire in regards to Canon Pixma MX320. I bought a Canon Pixma MX320 about 3 weeks ago, and I have brought it over to overseas. I am wondering if it is possible to change from the general ink cartridge that this particular printer use, which is PG510 and CL511 to another similar ink cartridge, which is PG810 and CL811. This is because, where I am living right now, doesn't have the particular Canon Pixma MX320, but instead Canon Pixma MX328 and MX338. The Canon Pixma MX328 and MX338 uses the PG810 and CL811. So, is it possible to substitute from PG510 to PG810 and CL511 to CL811 for Canon Pixma MX320? Thank you for your help.
