JVC HR -J655EK Video Stuck

I have been using my VCR HR-J655EK recording things as and when, came home yesterday and couldn't get it to turn on after recording the night before or eject the tape. What to do!!! Have BSG and Bones to watch.
Please help.

WizHi hannah. The simplest way to remove stuck tapes is to remove the top cover. Usually just a couple of screws. Then remove the stuck tape and put the cover back into place. You can also look for emergency eject hole and insert a snall pin into the hole and attempt to eject the disc while repeatedly twisting the pin inside the hole.
