Cannot send or recieve multi media messages cannot access internet cannot connect to wifi

    Hi

    The phone is a K599 (iphone copy) My network provider (Telstra Australia) has already done everything they can to get the phone working with no success, although they say they can see no reason why it shouldn't work

Hi,

To make your multimedia messages and internet working you should first need the settings for it.You cannot set it.Your network provider should give the default gateway address for it.
Then only you can use it.If you already have set the setting and now if it is not working because the network service provider
would have changed the gateway Ip address.You have to again set the new one.Please call your network service provider and ask him to send the multimedia messages and internet working settings for your mobile.He/she will ask for the mobile model and send you the appropriate multimedia messages and internet setting.You will get the settings as an SMS.go to inbox and save the setting...Now you can work with it.Your phone has no issues with multimedia messages.Only network service provider has to give the correct settings.

Hence your multimedia messages and internet problem will be solved if you have correct GPRS settings.


Wi-fi:
For wi-fi issue i need the mobile brand name and model no.Some times due to the Wi-fi settings in the
phone you get this issue.Resetting the phone will always solve the Wi-fi settings problem.I need your mobile brand name and model no for Wi-fi settings or to give you the reset code.

    This is Korean mobile.For this mobile there will be no static IMEI no.So your phone
    provider cant help you in this.

    Last option try this to restore and check:
    Menu > Settings > Restore factory settings

    Your network provider has given you proper settings only.
    But since the IMEI is dynamic.It cant connect to
    the gateway.Due to this issue only you cannot connect to internet.
    Basically no one could solve this problem.
    Say no to korean phones.In india,US these phones are banned due to
    this IMEI problem.

Your smartphone is two devices in one.

1. A phone that makes calls and sends text messages via over air signals via a cellular provider on a contract or pay as you go.

2. A device that can access the internet in two ways
2a. via your cellular carrier using a data plan.
2b. via a wifi connection using someone else's internet connection.

So yes, Facebook works fine via wifi, but you have no cellular network set up. Contact a cellular provider, sort out a contract and they will give you a SIM card to put in the phone and then your calls, text and data will work.

Can't send or recieve MMS on Net10


With net10 it tells you clear as day on the step by step activation process on the web page that net10 does not support multi media messages. You will need to download a third party messaging app to send and recieve or use the email app.

Guess, you can only recieve messages. That too when you turn it on..You can also schedule to send message. Search for messaging apps for your country. I know of such app but its for India only.

Why can't I recieve text messages from other cell phones?


I had this problem once with another cell and I found out that some of the text messages from other phones, like the LG and PDA phones send with kilobytes that are needed to be "downloaded" through a multi-media package or internet access. If you are able to send texts and they receive them, check with your carrier.
Also, try shutting the phone off and restarting.

NETWORK SET UP


You have to download and save settings for connecting to internet through GPRS. For that you have to contact your service provider for those settings. After you get those settings, save it and restart your mobile, you will connect to net.

Why cant I recieve Multi-media messaging?????


Sounds like you dont have browser access. Picture messaging uses the data service from your mobile internet. If you are using an unlocked phone these settings will need to be configured for your browser and your picture messaging. Contact your carrier or the manufacturers website for these.
