Display Problem with Intel 845GVSR MB : My computer running on Intel 845GVSR MB with 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor and 768 MB RAM and 80 GB HDD . When I start the computer nothing appears on display...

Have you tried it with another monitor?
Did you apply thermal paste to the processor? Sometimes it might overheat and malfunction.
Have you cleaned your motherboard? If don't, this link might help.

Hi! My Hp Pavillion a1710n desktop emits a series of never ending beeps every time I turn it on, and nothing appears on the monitor. I checked and the monitor is plugged in. I dont know what's going on.

The problem with RAM or DISplay card(It can be Moisture problem) or Processor Fan is not working properly. Open the CPU case, locate RAM, remove the ram by opening the both side clips. and put the RAM back as it is. If you have Graphics card on your CPU then remove the Graphics Card also and put it back as it is. Start the PC with opened case to check Processor Fan is Rotating or not. If Fan is not working properly then you have to replace the Processor FAN. Fan ok but same problem persists. you have to replace RAM with new one. as well as Graphics (Display) card.

Processor is OK, CPU fan is also working but no display in board, and also processor is no become heat when supply is ON

If there is no display then first of all we start form the power connector of your monitor check it if its lose if yes then fix it properly and also check your another cable which is connected to your CPU.

After power connector unplug all the power cables and remove the cabinet of your system
now look for the RAM on the mother board .
Take it out by un clipping the side locks.Clean the golden pins with a normal Eraser and clean it with cotton cloth.
Fix it in the same slot properly you have to be very careful, Keep the RAM properly and push it properly inside, the side lock should lock automatically if not then try again.

Then carefully plug only the power cord and the monitor cord and start the system, if you are not getting display then try the RAM in other slots.
If you are not getting the display the try changing the RAM.If this solves your problem then don't move to the next step. Then you are done if it resolves the problem then move to the below step.

Now lets move to video card, similarly take the video card and clean it and fix it .If you are not getting display then you have to replace the video card.

Now you are done.Hope the information provided will be helpful to you.
Thanks for using Fixya.

System freezes up

Check whether you motherboard heat sink is working properly or not. If u find more dust on the heat sink and the processor unit remove it with a brush and then check the RAM slot, If you have the RAM working properly then the problem is solved. If the RAM is making the trouble to hang try to replace it with another RAM with the same frequency. This will work out.

My d845 mother board dont display

Its probably caused by the RAM, have it checked. If you can do it yourself, clean the RAM as shown in the image below:
Install it back to the computer and turn it on. If problems persist try another RAM, it may already need replacement.

In case your computer has 2 RAMS installed, clean them both. To test if there is a busted one, install the one then turn on the PC, if it works shut down the PC. Then try the other one, if it works too then it just needs some cleaning. But if not, one of them needs replacement. You can still use your computer with 1 RAM, just don't expect the same performance as having two RAM. Resetting the CMOS may also help you in the process.

Please reply if this has helped you. Thanks.

Motherboard problem

Dear Carl,

We cannot conclude the video card is working properly until it displays to the screen. One was to tell: If the computer is whining in the case, if you can insert and hear CD music, and if you can hear the hard drive cranking in the case, then its likely your motherboard is working; the video card may be playing possum on you. If it's a PCI, remove it and insert it again. Also check your RAM to make sure it is properly inserted. If the computer is not booting and playing sounds, either the RAM or the VIDEO will be the first culprits.

Keep updating us, ok.
